It has been a vicious circle between calling Amazon customer service and being sent to Kindle direct publishing department whatever chat box back-and-forth back-and-forth with no way to get a hold of a person with KDP very frustrated. Been one week cannot get into my account.

Amateurish editing — stolen money

Book editing a horror. Over a month ago, I started asking for my money back but since they are my middle eastern cousins, I gave them chances and then, no more.

Here is what I was promised by the project manager.

"Hi Larry,

Your request has been processed and approved.

We'll share the refund receipt with you within 24 hours.

You can follow up on the progress of the refund with your financial institution using the receipt we'll share with you to check on the status of your refund. "

I believe I shot their inflow of customers with my review on Trust Pilot. If you are considering them, they and complete frauds because they are amateurs, secondary fraud to children.

I had my bank contact their money processing agency and I have gotten my money back today. Two months of lying to me while telling they wold refund, and later telling me they "had already refunded me.

All lies.I wanted my money back because they are incompetent to do anything except cookbooks.They also use Kindle-Amazon logo illegally.

I have contacted KDP alerting them. Totally avoid.

kindle amazon publishing. I was drawn to them because of their use of the title and the use of your logo.

They have ripped me off for $649. I am retired, on SS, and I can't gas my car, no food, and am now in the hospital. I have a back issue. The pain is unbearable.

I will not blame it completely on these miscreants, but it does not help my psychological disposition.

I'm asking you to contact them and help me as well as Kindle. These people hurt us both.

You could deliver the book to my Kindle - the book I have paid for. Don't use Kindle, as if they make a mistake, they make it difficult for you to have it fixed.

Impossible to contact customer service

Contact forms for email and chat nothing works. Hours wasted circling back around to get to no working way to contact them except possibly calling the phone number.

Which will obviously also take forever if that even works. You can do better, Amazon.

Fraud charges

Subject: Re: Your $12.98 payment at Amazon Kindle was declined

I can't say the device since it wasn't mine!

There are way too many Kindle Unlimited transactions going on and on and on

that I know I did not authorize!

Any charges from my Frost debit card ending in 8675 and/or 5503 were never

authorized and absolutely no authorization for future charges of any kind

ever unless my *** picks up the phone and calls.

I will be following up with a copy of the police report and I have copied

my bank, Frost. I will follow up with a call tomorrow.

The person who published via this platform is doing so illegally. The conversation with the representative today will be included in the legal proceedings.

Amazon has not resolved the issue. They keep sending me canned responses.

They removed reviews on my book and have not give any explanation of why or how they were removed. Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever recieved

I had 95 reviews on my book. Now for some reason I only have 85 reviews.

Why were 10 reviews removed without any explanation!! Could not ever get through to amazon.

Terrible customer service options. They make it very hard to contact them.

My published book and an individual that had been warned by police to stop harassing.

You guys have the worst return on customer service. It is mind-bending.

I received a personal review from Kenneth on my book. It is personal and unwarranted. He is using this platform to get revenge on me for helping his wife leave his abusive relationship for her and her daughter. This is personal and has nothing to do with my book.

You have left it up, and it is beyond infuriating. I can take reviews that are a direct read and response in any manner. I believe in constructive criticism. That said, your team continues to leave his baseless review on my book because of his past frustrations with his wife leaving him over abuse.

I had to call American Fork Police here in Utah to request them to contact him to quit contacting and harassing me at that time. Over a year prior to the release of this book, I could provide the police report on him if you’d like. His ex-wife, Amberly K., also reported him and left a review of the book as she actually read it, unlike him. Please remove his false review based on your community guidelines.

Also, I am getting many notices from people trying to leave reviews, and they’re not being published. They have spent at least $50, as your guidelines state. Please resolve these issues ASAP. If you need more info, please ask.

Amazon KDP Terminated Me Over Nonsense — Here’s the Truth

So apparently I got terminated from Amazon KDP for having another account which I didnt. Then they threw in a violation that was already resolved and never even mentioned to me in the first place.

Total blindside.

Let me be real: Amazon KDP doesnt give a damn about your creativity or your work. Their customer service? Useless. Youre just a number to them and unless youre making them money, youre disposable.

Their Terms & Conditions are a landmine.

One wrong step (even if its not your fault) and boom youre out. No warning. No explanation. No second chances.

Just cold, automated termination.

They should be supporting creators, not steamrolling them. But at the end of the day, KDP is all about profits not people.

If youre thinking of publishing through them, dont. Save yourself the headache and build your brand elsewhere.
