It charged me $300 remove all my content of KDP
Due to the holidays and a nonstop schedule, my game time book was removed from the platform, the KDP leisurely for a felon to verify my identity. I have no way to communicate with a live person, and then going around in circles. Emails have not been answered, etc., so it's frustrating.

They will steal from you
Establish yourself, hit $50k in sales, and they closed the account and took the funds! Claimed I was manipulating the price when they changed it! Do not use them, trash!

E-book removed off Amazon after payment!

I had my bank contact their money processing agency and I have gotten my money back today. Two months of lying to me while telling they wold refund, and later telling me they "had already refunded me.
All lies.I wanted my money back because they are incompetent to do anything except cookbooks.They also use Kindle-Amazon logo illegally.
I have contacted KDP alerting them. Totally avoid.
kindle amazon publishing. I was drawn to them because of their use of the title and the use of your logo.
They have ripped me off for $649. I am retired, on SS, and I can't gas my car, no food, and am now in the hospital. I have a back issue. The pain is unbearable.
I will not blame it completely on these miscreants, but it does not help my psychological disposition.
I'm asking you to contact them and help me as well as Kindle. These people hurt us both.

I have a federal ID from the post office they won't allow it...i have a NYS food handlers license with my picture...they won't allow it...i have a ss card...they won't allow it...my w2s they won't allow ..but they will allow me to place orders and pay for them... just verified my prime account last week...
Made an order it was delivered... I've been trying to finish my book and publish on kdp... Now all of a sudden I have to verify my kdp with a driver's license... I lost mine...
My identity was stolen... I have a picture of it on my phone but not the back... Now I can't publish my book.. I don't have a birth certificate...
Nor will they let me order one because they don't take my cash app card...
I went for a license... But because my license is suspended the won't even let me get an id...

I didn’t get any help. I’ve been trying for two days to get help from these people and I can’t get any help getting into my account.
It has been a vicious circle between calling Amazon customer service and being sent to Kindle direct publishing department whatever chat box back-and-forth back-and-forth with no way to get a hold of a person with KDP very frustrated. Been one week cannot get into my account.
I have been locked out of my account for failed attempts. It won't let me into my account, and there's an old name on a different account that I want removed.

Book editing a horror. Over a month ago, I started asking for my money back but since they are my middle eastern cousins, I gave them chances and then, no more.
Here is what I was promised by the project manager.

Dear KDP Support Team,
I recently ordered a proof copy of my book, and everything looked perfect the trim, layout, and especially the margins were exactly as they should be. The proof copy showed well-balanced margins and an overall clean layout.
I intended to publish the book exactly as it appeared in the proof copy.
However, during the publishing process, I repeatedly received emails stating that there was an issue with the trim size which confused me, as I had successfully ordered the proof without any issues.
To address this, I slightly adjusted the file by increasing the size by 0.64 mm. After re-uploading it, the pre-publish quality check looked exactly the same as the original proof no errors were flagged, and the margins appeared completely fine.
Unfortunately, after publishing, the final printed version now shows extremely narrow margins on all pages, which was not the case in either the proof copy or the pre-publish preview.
This inconsistency has a significant impact on the visual quality and readability of the book.
Could you please help me understand how such a drastic discrepancy could occur between:
the proof copy (which was perfect),
the pre-publish quality check (which looked identical to the proof),
and the final printed version (which now has very narrow margins)?
Also, could you please advise me on how to set up my file correctly to ensure that there is enough margin space and avoid such issues in future printings? Thank you very much for your support.
